checkpoint tiers
TIER TWO: PRODUCT AND MARKET
A comprehensive audit of your product, positioning, and go-to-market approach — so you can launch with confidence.
-
Tier 2: Product + Go-To-Market & Brand Expression
This Checkpoint builds on Tier 1 with a deeper dive into how your product shows up in the world: the story it tells, the way it reaches your customer, and whether your early go-to-market plan will hold up under real-world pressure. We review how the product lives inside your brand — and how that brand performs in front of your audience.
What we audit:
Everything in Tier 1 (product development, design, engineering, manufacturability)
Brand positioning and narrative consistency (does the story align with the product + customer?)
Visual brand identity + packaging direction (does the brand expression elevate or distract?)
Customer profile accuracy (are you clear and specific on who you're building for?)
Channel + pricing strategy (is your rollout plan viable given the unit economics and market?)
Early content or messaging (is the story resonant, credible, and conversion-ready?)
What you walk away with:
A clear understanding of where your go-to-market strategy and product may be misaligned
Honest feedback on how your brand expression holds up in the market
Tactical recommendations on how to refine your positioning, pricing, or rollout before launch
Ideal for:
Founders with a product in development and a brand or website in progress
Teams with packaging, naming, and identity already underway
Anyone about to launch and asking “are we positioned to win?”

How It Works
Fast, focused, and founder-friendly. Here’s exactly what to expect.
Checkpoint is a time-bound engagement designed to deliver clarity, fast — without derailing your week or burying you in calls. From kickoff to final Slack day, the process is straightforward and deeply collaborative.
Step 1: Book + Contract
Once you choose your tier, we’ll send over your agreement and invoice. Upon signature and payment, your Checkpoint officially begins.
Step 2: Slack Onboarding (Week 0)
Seven days before your official Checkpoint week, you’ll be added to a dedicated Slack channel with our team. This gives us time to collect materials, clarify goals, and make sure we hit the ground running.
Step 3: Kickoff Call (Start of Week 1)
We’ll start your audit week with a 45–60 minute kickoff call to align on context, objectives, and any areas of concern. This helps us focus the audit where it matters most.
Step 4: Audit Week (5 Business Days)
Over the course of the next 5 business days, we conduct a rigorous audit based on your selected tier. You’ll receive messages via Slack as needed, but we keep interruptions minimal so we can go deep.
Step 5: Findings Presentation
We deliver your findings in a live 90–120 minute Zoom session, walking through annotated materials, strategic recommendations, and priority actions. You’ll have space to ask questions and get clarity in real-time.
Step 6: Roadmap Delivery
After your presentation, we’ll send your custom roadmap — your guide for what to do next and in what order, based on what we uncovered.
Step 7: Slack Wrap-Up (2 Weeks Post-Audit)
You’ll stay in the Slack channel for two weeks after audit week. This gives you time to review materials, ask follow-up questions, and get additional context if needed. After that, we close the loop — and you move forward with clarity.

how a checkpoint™ can help your startup
For founders who’ve already invested serious time, capital, and energy, Checkpoint offers the kind of strategic clarity and expert perspective that moves a business forward faster — and smarter. Here’s what founders consistently gain from the experience:
✓ Clarity on What Matters Most
You’ve made dozens — maybe hundreds — of decisions. We help you recalibrate which ones truly matter at this stage. Through technical assessment, business model interrogation, and product-stage analysis, we bring a lens of clarity that reveals the most critical levers to pull in the near term.
✓ strategic readiness for investment
Checkpoint is your investor pressure test — the diagnostic before the pitch. We audit your materials through the lens of a discerning investor, identifying misalignments in narrative, missing data in your financials, and unclear value in your positioning. It’s not about rewriting — it’s about revealing what must evolve before you step into the room, so that when you do, you’re taken seriously.
✓ Confidence in Your Product + engineering path
Our feedback isn’t vague encouragement — it’s grounded in real-world product experience and engineering scrutiny. You’ll receive a detailed evaluation of your product’s current state: design execution, materials, manufacturability, and fit-for-market. We validate what’s strong and surface what could compromise quality, cost-efficiency, or launch-readiness.
✓ Supply Chain Optimization
Checkpoint doesn't tell you what to do — it shows you why certain decisions matter more than others. When you’ve been deep in the build, it’s hard to know what’s urgent versus what’s just noise. We help you cut through it. You’ll walk away with clear next steps — not to overwhelm you, but to anchor your next phase in logic, sequencing, and impact. It’s not about adding work; it’s about restoring direction.
✓ Perspective from Experts Who’ve Done It
This isn’t surface-level consulting. Our team brings more than a decade each in product development, supply chain strategy, industrial design, and brand building. We offer a perspective that spans creative, operational, and financial disciplines — delivered with tactical recommendations you can use immediately.
✓ Reconnection to Vision and Momentum
Checkpoint often re-centers founders. When you’ve been in the weeds, hearing clear, thoughtful feedback can be the thing that reignites your confidence and helps you reconnect to why you started in the first place.Sometimes clarity means coming back to the core of why you started. Many founders tell us Checkpoint re-energized them — helping them reconnect with their instincts, their mission, and their excitement.
